TRYOUTS

Time Commitment

Throughout the year VC Swoosh ELITE teams typically practice twice a week. During the Fall (September - November) and winter (December - february) our teams play in an average of 2 tournaments (2 days) or shootouts (1 day) per month.  Our busiest tournament schedule takes place in the Spring (March - May), where we play 8 or 9 tournaments over the 3 months. The final tournament of the spring is our annual trip to LAs VEgas for the Memorial Day Tournament.  During the summer (June - August) we scale back and participate in 4 tournament over the 3 months. Throughout the year we participate in tournaments in Ventura County, Santa Barbara (at the UCSB Thunderdome), Los Angeles, Orange County, and the annual trip to Las Vegas on Memorial Day Weekend. 

Costs & Registration

There is a one-time registration fee of $250. Once A player is registered they will receive A practice jersey, team bag, shooting shirt, and game uniform. The game uniform is owned by VC Swoosh and must be returned if the player leaves the program. 

There is a monthly fee of $125 due on the 1st of the month. This fee covers all practices and tournament & league costs.

At the time of the initial registration and Each year in September, each player is required to purchase an AAU individual membership ($16 "Added benefit" coverage).

To complete registration, we will need a copy of both the player's birth certificate and most recent report card (for age/grade verification at leagues & tournaments).
